5-1
Don Juan
Always a strong performer at TBW events with 3 wins including back to back wins. Lately has been showing consistency flaws having carded a round in the 90’s. Blames poor performance at TBWMB24 on the girls at Suck Bang Blow but we’re not so sure. A solid win-place-show bet..
20-1
Tito
Marriage has created a lightweight version of Tito and this has carried over to his alcohol and gummy skills. If he continues to drink like a heavyweight he’ll crumble like apple pie. Definitely a longshot to win as he can’t resist the aiming juice.
12-1
Lorenzo
Over the past few years has been lurking around the middle of the pack. Works harder at trying to get his handicap changed than improving his golf game. Continues to use illegal chipper club which could cost him in the end.
3-1
Alvaro
Odds reflect his Official Scorer role. No need to say anything else about this fan favourite but we will. Long time participant with multiple top 3 finishes who has yet to find the podium. Took turning 65 this year so hard he’s hit the gym to offset the effects of rapidly aging body. If he can survive the week we expect him to be in contention.
8-1
Raio
A true lover of the game with more swing thoughts than DeChambeau and more fidgets than Garcia. Has new tweak for every swing of the club. Don’t count him out as last TBW finish was T-3. Might be a good bet at these odds.
15-1
Americano
A veteran TBW’er whose daily routine and golf score is starting strong and fading early. Could finish well if he uses the Wheels Fell Off googles to keep stogie smoke out of his eyes.
16-1
Teodoro
Second TBW event for Tito’s cousin. Liked by all after a solid performance in his rookie year and golfing skills looked not too bad. Has a solid chance this year if he can avoid his cousin.
14-1
Carlos
After many years of speculation was recently confirmed he actually does have a boat. Thinks more like a captain than a golfer describing greens as rough with 1-2 foot swells while looking for nav charts to plot his putt. Only player hoping for lots of water on course. We now understand why he has the longest drought of all TBW’ers with 13 starts without a win.
22-1
Seve
Has been struggling last few years so bought new irons to fix all swing errors. Spent the winter in Africa honing his game while blasting a mud missile with the tigers. Expectations are high for a solid performance both on the course in the porcelain office.
13-1
Juan Compton
A former back to back Champ who crashed to the bottom at the last TBW. Is so worried about another fail, deliberately fell under a golf cart to have knee injury to blame should he repeat his last performance. Has legitimate shot at top 10 finish.
18-1
Kenquistador
This year’s wild card. Has 9 previous TBW starts but has never won the coveted jacket. Required favour from co-golfer to at least get his name on the jacket. Returned to competitive golf last fall after a two year boondoggle and shot three consecutive birdies. Has high expectations for this years newly purchased driver.
25-1
Danilo
Last and only previous TBW trip was Portugal in 2023. Did a great job keeping his head down in the Villa however didn’t translate well onto the golf course. Hopefully handles the time zone change better this year which should positively affect his golf game.
